Position Description:
The Multimedia Production/Post production department is responsible for producing over 400 videos, events, and design documents per year, as well as supporting our major conference centers. The Multimedia Systems Administrator will work in our post production facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, test, monitor, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, networks and peripherals.
- Assist end users in resolving hardware and software issues, diagnosing problems and performing troubleshooting activities. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to facilitate a timely resolution.
- Administer user account information, including rights, security and systems groups.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to resolve major hardware or software problems or defective products requiring service.
- Maintain the backup solutions and infrastructure cabling for the Studio’s systems.
- Managing service contracts for software and hardware systems.
- Maintaining a record of problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
- Attend all required company, team and project meetings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Support and/or Systems technician in an IT environment, ideally in a Broadcast, Production, or Post Production Television Studio.
- Experience and knowledge of the following systems: Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix, Cyber Security, Active Domain Directory, Mail servers, Firewalls, SAN, NAS, LTO systems, Network switches and routers, System backup solutions, Antivirus Software and Cloud Based Solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot various issues for Media Specific workstations.
- High level of organization and communication skills
Salary range: $90,000-$135,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
