Security Guard Responsibilities:

• Report in detail any suspicious incident to H& S Manager
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Patrol randomly buildings, company parking lots and other company facilities
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras
• Maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal inappropriate actions.
• Enter all raw materials (chemicals, packaging, starch etc.) into SAP database
• Perform other functions when directed to support service areas.

Security Guard Task:

• Process tags for visitors and contractors entering and exiting facility
• Process ALL truck loads with chemicals entering facility
• Review ALL safety data sheets (SDS) prior to issuing access pass to DOT vehicle operators
• Daily Patrol
• Daily monitor cameras and log suspicious activities
• Provide ID cards and badges to employees and contractors & Fremont
• Handling in-coming and outgoing calls and report to appropriate departments
• Conduct sniff test as requested for Confined Space Entries, & Hot Work
• Handle and process shipping Bills on weekends and holidays
• Daily log all incidents and accidents to include, injuries, near miss, fires, unsafe conditions and property damages during on / after hours
• Special Notes
• Shifts (A-B-C-D) operating 24 hours - 7 days – 365 days
• Transport employees to OCC Health & Adena when requested by plant nurse.
• Initiate maintenance call-ins for snow removal during winter conditions.
• Initiate call-ins for stores employees as needed after hours and weekends.
• Maintain safety supplies at all employee entrances as needed.
• Monitor scanner traffic and assist Law Enforcement as needed and requested.
• Monitor scanner traffic for severe weather bulletins and take appropriate actions.
• Assist in providing new hire training to new mill employees as requested.
• Provide new hire training to new contract guards.
