Full Time Salary Position $70,000-$100,000 base per year (Depends on Experience) + Commission
Shaft’s Cheese & Co. needs a sales manager to help us grow our foodservice distribution and retail relationships and expand into new territories through the country.

Duties and responsibilities:
Overall customer relationship
- Develop and preserve relationship with customer’s key influencers and decision-makers;
- Build new and maintain long lasting, profitable customer relationships
- Responsible for overall account plan for customers,
- Helps brand our products to the overall market
Sales territory Responsibilities
- Responsible for meeting sales growth targets and KPI’s ;
- Sales responsibilities in both the foodservice and retail channels Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts
- Develop the assigned territory by prospecting, promoting and presenting all Shaft’s
Cheese products
- Regularly cold call new account opportunities. Pursue and develop new prospects and relationships.
- Demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers, assisting them in selecting those products and services best suited to meet their business needs;
- Grow existing accounts through the introduction of new products
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determine the growth potential of existing and prospective customers;
- Communicate and strategize regularly with President of Sales concerning accounts and sales opportunities.
- Establish and maintain working relationship with all internal partners
- Effectively communicate the state of the business to owners
- Represent company at major industry events, conferences, trade shows and expositions
- Engage in educational and team building activities to strengthen personal and professional development
- Manage and report travel expenses consistent with company policies.
Requirements
- 3 years B2B sales experience;
- Preferred at least 3 years of experience in the foodservice/restaurant industry with roles in sales/customer service/operations;
- High energy and enthusiastic
- Self-starter
- Likes cheese
- Valid Driver’s License and be able to provide a proof of car insurance;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Approximately 80% of the work is done outside the office, by contacting customers directly.'
