At Nissan of San Juan Capistrano, the Sales Associates interact with customers – online, over the phone, and in person, to help guide their vehicle purchase in our no-haggle sales environment. Responding to leads in a timely fashion, answering questions, providing information, and helping guide customers effectively from phone and internet contact to an in-store experience while providing an exceptional customer experience is key. With outstanding communication and listening skills, you’ll help our customers select their perfect vehicle, negotiate terms to ensure that payment options meet their lifestyles, budgets, and expectations. Our Sales associates provide an exceptional customer experience both before and after purchase, driving loyalty by following up to ensure customer satisfaction and helping transition customers to the Service department to support their ownership experience.
Requirements:
- Proficient with internet, text messaging, and email.
- Proficient with written and oral communication.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
- Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers.
- Establish personal performance goals that are consistent with company standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
- Understand and follow work rules and procedures.
- Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.
- Multi-lingual a plus.
Job Duties:
- Make phone contacts daily plus email and text message.
- Enter their contacts into the company computer system with notes to advance the sale.
- Obtain the training necessary for factory qualifications.
- Take test-drives with customers according to management’s guidelines for personal safety.
- Present to management all offers made by customers to purchase vehicles.
- Show concern for the customers’ needs throughout the sales process.
- Follow all dealership processes and procedures to ensure an excellent rating on the sales, delivery and follow up processes from each customer.
- Arrange the first service appointment for customers and contact the customer before and after the first appointment.
- Maintain excellent CSI score.
- Attend all necessary manufacturer's training and become certified.
- Acquire and maintain total product knowledge.
Professional Obligations:
- Timekeeping - Clock in and out daily including lunch.
- Attend Sales meetings.
