RN Supervisor

Brunswick Hospital Center – Amityville, NY

Full Time – 8am-8pm

Brunswick Hospital Center (BHC), is a 146-bed private, acute-care psychiatric hospital that is licensed by The New York State Office of Mental Health and accredited by The Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. At BHC, we provide a compassionate and therapeutic environment where patients can begin their recovery from emotional disturbance or mental illness that prevents everyday functioning.

Brunswick Hospital Center caters to a diverse population throughout the NY Metropolitan region and is located 45 minutes from Manhattan and in close proximity to all major expressways and the LIRR/local bus service.

We are currently seeking a full time RN Supervisor to:

• Manage efficient, cost effective and quality driven management (care, personnel and practice) of the Nursing Department.
• Provide hospital clinical and administrative supervision to coordinate the delivery of services, as assigned.

We require:

• Graduate of a Professional Nursing Program, BSN
• Valid current NYS RN license/registration
• Current BLS certification
• 3 years’ experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• 3 years’ management/supervisory experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MSN
• Psychiatric RN specialty certification a plus
