Position Summary:

The Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) will provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring professional nursing services in accordance with physicians’ order, and in compliance with company policies/procedures, state and federal regulations.

Position Duties:

• Perform and complete nursing assessment.
• Provide nursing care and prescribed treatments for patients in accordance with physician’s orders and in compliance with company policies/procedures, state and federal regulations.
• Report significant findings to physician and Clinical Manager.
• Implement physician orders in a timely, complete and accurate manner.
• Provide patient care delivery in a manner that enhances the overall mission, vision, philosophy, goals and objectives of the Company.
• Develop and implement the patient’s individualized care plan.
• Supervise and evaluate the care provided by nurses and aides per company policy.
• Incorporate new technologies and interventions for patient care.
• Willing to travel to other office locations to assist with staffing if needed.

Home Health Registered Nurse Requirements:

• Work requires advance knowledge of the Homecare Industry, Medicare Regulations, CMS, and other State/Federal regulatory changes.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills including tact and diplomacy
• Effective organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through
• One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred

Licensing/Certification/Education Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR Certification
• Current State Driver’s License and auto insurance

Physical Requirements:

• Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 40 pounds
