Rehabilitation Technician Full Time

Rehab Techs work under the supervision of Goodwill’s recreational therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, neuropsychologists, and mental health counselors to understand a participant’s needs and help the participant do the work in a one-on-one or small group setting. Rehab Techs also help participants re-learn life skills, like personal hygiene and cooking, so they can live more independently.
Location: 8 Science Park Road in Scarborough, Maine
Hourly Rate: $16.50, with an increase to $17 when brain injury training complete
We are open Monday-Thursday, 8 am-6 pm.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Maine state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Reliable transportation and automobile insurance that meets minimum state requirements
- Criminal Record that satisfies Goodwill NNE criteria for this job
- Occasional work outside regular business hours for special events
- Ability to document within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Travel within the workday; Driving clients in a Goodwill vehicle
