Job description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to provide support to students with special needs in school districts in the area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a mix of classroom support and 1:1 support to one or several students. The position is full-time or part-time and offers the potential for transitioning to a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs and providing a range of support, including behavior management and academic assistance.

Schedule:

Any Monday-Friday between regular school hours of 8:00 am - 2:30 pm (start/end times may vary based on specific schools)

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide support to students with special needs in a classroom setting, including behavior management and academic assistance.

· Provide 1:1 support to one or several students as needed.

· Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure students' needs are met.

· Attend team meetings and provide input on students' progress and needs.

· Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of students' progress.

Qualifications:

· Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· CPR or NCI certification

· Strong assessment skills

· Comfortable assisting with toileting

· Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with teachers and other staff members

· Previous school experience preferred but not required
