Regional Director of Facilities Management (Corporate Maintenance)
Job description
EPOCH Senior Living in Waltham, MA is hiring a Regional Director of Facilities Management (Maintenance Department) for our Corporate leadership team at our Senior Living organization. The overall responsibility is to monitor the Building Services Departments in accordance with current federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and standards of practice at all EPOCH Senior Living locations for our Senior Living Communities which include both Waterstone and Bridges Memory Care. This position provides support to Maintenance Directors and develops and monitors preventative maintenance programs and fire and safety programs. Inspects and reports on plant’s appearance, safety and upkeep. Reviews facilities safety, in services, and fire/disaster drills. This position monitors Maintenance Directors completion of forms, reports and evaluations to assure control of equipment and supplies. The Director of Facilities Management assists with forecasting and budgets and reviews proposals for repairs. This position monitors staffing, assists with the interview process and makes facility visits. This role assists with survey inspections and plans of correction. Additionally, coordinates with outside contractors, local authorities, banking institutions and corporate partnerships as needed. This position serves on Corporate Safety Committee and participates in weekly Operations meetings. Must be available to assist with emergencies if they occur.

Job Requirements:
We require a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Assisted Living and/or Independent Living. Must have excellent leadership, communication skills both written and verbal with strong organizational skills. Must have knowledge of memory care, assisted living and governmental licensure regulations. Some experience opening start-up communities preferred. Travel in MA, NH, CT and NY required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
