Job description

Founded in 1979, Pacur LLC. is an ISO 9001 certified custom sheet extruder located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Pacur specializes in the extrusion of light and heavy gauge polyester, copolyester and polypropylene resins for a variety of applications. Pacur is dedicated to the extrusion of these resins due to their unique blend of properties with minimal environmental impact.

Purpose

To confirm company compliance to requirements through inspections, record keeping, verifications, audits, data analysis and customer support. Communicate and coordinate with Quality Management, Production, Shipping and Customer Service on quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Awareness of and adherence to all, Corporate & Site; Environmental, Health, & Safety, policies & procedures.
• Perform QA testing using micrometers, rulers, thermoformed, tensile tester, viscometer, pH meter, conductivity meter, melt flow machine, elemental analyzers, and other lab equipment.
• Calculate test equipment measurement setting and set up QA sample tally sheets and worksheets.
• Inspects and/or tests product, such as resin, roll stock, and sheets, according to written QAC inspection procedures.
• Reviews and audits quality control charts, tally and inspection sheets, etc.
• Record test results both manually and electronically and file QA records, including hold tickets.
• Troubleshoot defects and quarantine non-conforming material. Notify Production Supervision of non-conforming products.
• Learns and applies statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
• Document and controls sample retain and retain storage for future reference in case a quality concern would arise.
• Performs (TMVs) Test Method Validations to obtain data as required by ISO Quality Management Systems.
• Audits job data and issue COC’s to release product
• Files Hold Tickets and Specification Deviation Request in Device history Records
• Has knowledge of procedures, work instructions and associated forms of ISO Quality Management Systems.
• Assist and train other QC Technicians as needed.
• Frequent contact with all level of employees withing Pacur from manufacturing to management
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years working in a manufacturing environment
• 1 year QA knowledge
