Blake Equipment is seeking an experienced Wastewater Service Technician in our East Windsor, CT location.

Our ideal candidate would have a background in the installation and service of all types of Wastewater pumps and controls. Controls could include PLC’s, VFD, control valves and other related electrical equipment.

Responsibilities would include:

• The installation, calibrating, configuring, testing, maintaining, evaluating, troubleshooting, and repairing as necessary, waste water equipment, pumps, motors, valves, and related electrical equipment.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance or repair of the equipment
• Assess and repair/rebuild pumps
• Perform field service
• Pump assembly
• Test of electrical controls on finished systems
• Must be available for “ ON CALL” 24 hour emergency service rotation.

• Must do well in a team environment
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service on the road and sales office.
• Must work effectively with little or no supervision
• Must maintain a valid drivers license and a hoisting license where required by each state
• Must be able to pass a DOT drivers physical for driving fleet vehicles as required
• Must be able to pass a fork truck license test
• Must be able pass an overhead crane test
• Must have or be able to obtain OSHA10 confined space training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
• pump technician: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
