PROJECT COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME
For over 35 years, North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. Under the direction of the Director of Facilities the Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of daily and preventive maintenance activities across campus, provides superior customer service to our senior independent living community and is responsible to maintain all related records. The Project Coordinator works as part of the maintenance team to achieve departmental goals in support of the campus.
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Communicate with Residents, co-workers, outside vendors and contractors to schedule routine maintenance. Responds to Resident inquiries regarding maintenance issues.
- Responsible for maintaining the work order system and the coordination of work orders for repair requests made in the WorxHub platform
- Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.
- Maintains critical documents such as inspection certificates, building permits and plant inventory.
- Coordinates resident apartment refurbishing in a manner that is least disruptive to the occupant by ordering supplies and overseeing the project to completion.
- Perform preventive maintenance audits as directed by Facilities Manager
- Adapts schedule when necessary to accommodate emergency situations related to weather, DPH, state of emergency and other unforeseen circumstances.
- Completes required education in a timely manner and participates in all maintenance training programs. Comply with all safety/environmental procedures, including hazardous control, all regulatory compliance and other building awareness programs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience in a related field
- English proficiency – both reading and writing.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associates Degree or greater in a related field
- 3-5 years related experience in a related field
