The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Program Manager, Emerging Talent Programs, to join our human resources team at our Global Headquarters in Buffalo, New York, in an in-person/hybrid position. As a Emerging Talent Program Manager, you will be responsible for being a key strategic partner to support the design and execution of early career learning and development programs, and for implementing our enterprise-wide early talent development programs across the organization.

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $70700 - $93700 / year

Responsibilities

  • Partnership with Talent Acquisition team and recruiters on emerging talent attraction and recruitment goals. Employs iCMS to create reports on early talent tracking hiring. Works with Talent Acquisition partners and Ambassadors leverage early attraction approaches for early talent recruitment. Develops partnerships with key partner schools to promote early talent programs. External Partner Relationship Management
  • Manages Ambassador program to manage attraction in concert with recruitment team members. Manages platforms connected to running of the Ambassadors Experience and the Ambassador Exchange to connect Delaware North Ambassadors to external and internal attraction and mentoring events. Develops the Ambassador programming for the community to create the Ambassador Experience. In concert with Ambassadors and recruiters, identify and solution for recruitment gaps.
  • In concert with the director, develops the early talent experience to grow early talent to meet business need of the company wide strategic goals. Manages talent program cycle: Program Analysis, Development, Evaluation, and Reporting. Manages communication with internal and external early talent stakeholders, managers, and early talent. Builds the early talent Delaware North community for optional engagement and inclusion and belonging. Helps to develop managers to provide early talent experiences that result in retention, inclusion, and belonging.
    • Apprenticeship Program
      Help sets up the Apprentice Program and manages the operations of the Company Apprentice Programming. In concert with the Culinary Academy/CHEFS program team members supports the operations of the Culinary Apprentice Program. Manages relationship logistics with external apprentice partners, culinary and hospitality stakeholders.
    • Strategic Analytics Internship Program
      Supports the internship operations of the Strategic Analytics Programming
    • IT Internship Program
      In concert with IT Managers, coordinates the attraction, development and engagement programming.
  • In concert with director, identifies and partners with high school, college and community partners that will add value to early talent efforts and aid in conversion efforts initiatives. Work with Delaware North stakeholders to convert early talent into career pathways and jobs across the business. Assist in the development of conversion processes and programs to build early talent pipelines

Qualifications

  • BS or BA degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Training, and Development, or other similar concentrations required; MBA/Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7-10 years of related experience in an OD, Training, or Learning and Development role.
  • Deep knowledge of early adult learning theory, e-learning technologies, tools, and instructional design skills.
  • Strong virtual and in-person training, coaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability and experience in identifying and recommending enterprise-wide learning and development programs and solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage large-scale enterprise-wide programs and projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficient with systems such as iCMS, Teams SharePoint, Saba, Workday, MS Office Suite applications, and instructional design tools such as Articulate, and Captivate.
  • Certifications in individual, team, and leadership development assessments and feedback tools preferred such as MBTI, DiSC, StrengthsFinder
  • Professional HR, OD, Learning, and Development related certifications are preferred such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, ATD.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
