Delta Dental of Arizona, the state’s #1 dental insurance company, is looking for a conscientious, patient, team-oriented individual with a sharp eye for detail to work at our corporate headquarters in Glendale.

Overview

Assists the Professional Relations department with dentist contract compliance issues, credentialing, and re-credentialing processes. Ensures regulatory processes are performed in accordance with state, federal and, DDPA standards. Assist office to ensuring claims are processed in compliance with the group contract, DDAZ’s processing policies, and Arizona state regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties

  • Creates and maintains records of all providers information in electronic database files including credentialing documentation, network status, contracts, license, and certification expirations, filed fees and contact updates for all networks.
  • Identify and make updates and corrections to demographics as they are identified or as received from the provider in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining the contracts and credentialing processes for all network dentists per NCQA, Medicare Advantage and DDPA’s standards.
  • Tracks license and certification expirations for all dentists to ensure timely renewals, monitors any AZ Board of Dental Examiner actions against any dentists.
  • Coordinate dentist mass mailing projects as necessary.
  • Field calls from dental offices or other Delta plans regarding contracts, fee issues, and contract/network status.
  • Servicing email requests from providers and maintaining categorized responsibilities of incoming emails.
Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of related experience (clinical dental office experience and/or dental insurance/claims experience)
  • Knowledge of CDT codes and processing policies
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Consistently meets quality and quantity performance standards.

Starting pay for this position is $16.77 - $18/hour.
