Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.

The Producer/Director directs, supervises, and manages the Multimedia Production Support Team supporting a DoD organization with multimedia production support and services.
Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, plan, coordinate, and provide onsite/location execution and support of multimedia production requirements, events, and ceremonies.
  • Responsible for pre-production, production, and post-production support.
  • Responsible for comprehensive design, product consultation, and production services, including graphic production support, directory creation support, cataloging, and media management of graphic and reproduction center software licenses, documentation and media management and support of a graphic image database, research, and presentation of industry trends and implementable improvements to affect the efficient operation of the graphic and reproduction centers, support of software, hardware, and firmware within the organizational structure.
  • Responsible for graphic data management, including maintaining data and system integrity, performing graphic image database updates, cataloging image files, sustaining network stored digital asset system and production files, developing an archival copy of digital assets, and maintaining existing archives for retrieval.
  • Responsible for production technical support, including providing technical guidance relating to lighting, sound, and special effects used in video production, and preparing and maintaining an automated archival system for completed productions, videotape files, and stock footage, coordinating with points of contact and subject matter experts for developmental of script materials.
  • Develop technology roadmaps, including providing recommendations for new hardware, software, and peripheral equipment to be used to improve capabilities in audio, video, photographic, multimedia, and presentation.
  • Provide industry-standard short and long-term engineering forecasts, enhancements, extensions, and life-cycle replacements.
  • Attend product demonstrations, technical expos, and trade shows.
  • Multimedia production administrative support, including managing processes and schedules and notifying the government of issues and delays.
  • Responsible for researching and maintaining a library for developing documentation, presentations, and productions.
  • Develop and retain personnel/property release documentation, track status of all work orders, script development, and storyboards, manage and respond to requests for multimedia productions support, manage organizationally-generated graphic products accessioning numbers, manage graphic production file digital archival database and hardcopy continuity books, establish contingency plans and minimizing downtime during photographic and video shoots.
  • Provide photographic-specific support, including providing photographic production support, maintaining, automated and hard copy logs of photographic work orders and assignment calendars, and developing, updating, and maintaining electronic and hard copy photographic archives and catalog and video still images.
  • Provide extraordinary operations planning support, including participating in high visibility and Continuity of Operations (COOP) events requiring VI/graphics support.
  • Attend planning meetings, training, and after-action reviews and provide detailed meeting minutes.
  • Provide multimedia standalone local area network support, including support and provide information assurance services for the multimedia standalone local area network.
  • Coordinate with and provide support as needed to VTC Operations Team and Engineering Team as needed.
  • Generate and comply with customer organization and contractual recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements, non-recurring and special reports, develop and implement, metrics capture processes and procedures, quality control, and assurance processes and procedures.
  • Provide staff management and supervision, including scheduling, timesheet, leave, and performance management.
  • Complete annual company and customer training requirements.
  • Record labor hours daily.
  • Travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 10% as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • 8+ years of supervisory/managerial experience commensurate with the position requirements are required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • TS/SCI clearance is required to start.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Publisher, and Outlook.
  • Familiar with AR25-1 and DoD PAM 25-91.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 10% as required.
