YOUR LIFE AS A PRESCHOOL TEACHER

This full-time early childhood education position works 8-hour shifts that fall within our business hours of 6:30 am - 5:45 pm and vary depending on the needs of each room. Part-time hours may also be available.

In this preschool teaching position, you have the joy and privilege of helping shape young minds. Because you teach a class that's made up primarily of 5-year-olds, you have the important responsibility of preparing them for the next level of schooling. To do so, you lead them in circle time, learning centers, art projects, gross motor activities, snack time, and more. Each day is full of fun conversations as you explore new concepts with your students and help them develop independence.

You enjoy that our play-based curriculum allows you flexibility and the freedom to be innovative and creative in your lesson plans. Your prep includes collaboration with your teaching assistant who offers you great ideas as well as support. A great communicator, you keep the parents of your students updated and listen carefully to any questions or concerns they might have. Your day is busy but so much fun. Your students are little sponges who soak up the new information you offer and give you love in return. They are the reason you can't wait to come to work every day!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education
• Ability to effectively implement behavior management strategies
