Job Summary and Qualifications

Diversion prevention and record management activities, audits, ongoing monitoring and education to department and hospital leaders. Maintains database for employee records and various drug and diversion related activities. Collects and aggregates performance improvement data. Sets up meetings and prepares minutes. Performs pharmacy technician duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

High school graduate or GED is required. 2-year college degree and training in communication, project management, or administration preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

2-year pharmacy technician experience required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrated superior communications and customer service skills, success in organizing work, computer skills, attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task, ability to handle a high volume of work with frequent interruptions, and works well independently with minimal direct supervision.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
• State License Pharmacy Intern, or Licensed Pharmacy Technician, or State Registration Pharmacy Technician
