Parking Attendant/Van Driver- PartTime-Port Canaveral
Parking Attendant
- Responsible for directing patrons into parking areas
- Call tow truck if person is parked illegally
- Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots
- Check vehicles for damage
- Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots
- Open doors and greet customers
- Help customers locate their vehicles
- Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers
- Escort customers to their vehicles if needed
- Give directions to nearest highway or destination
Van Driver
- Operating a vehicle to pick up passengers at various locations
- Greet all passengers, confirm destination
- Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicle
- Clean, vacuum, and maintain interior of vehicle
- Assist with minor vehicle repairs as required
- Requirements:
- Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Use knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns to avoid heavy traffic
- Ability to operate vehicle without accommodations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Requires a minimum of one (1) year work experience driving commercial vehicle (van or bus)
- Good Customer Service Skills
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to work well with others
- Successfully complete drug test
