Position : Painter

Location : Omaha NE 68107

Duration : 12 months

Shift : 3rd shift Painter- Train on 1st shift first 1-3 months, Monday – Thursday is a 9 hour shift (6:00am – 3:30p); Friday is a 4 hour shift (6a-10a) However Overtime will be required.

Job Description:

Position: This position paints components for our medium voltage (5-38kv) switchgear assemblies.

• Washing parts

• Prep parts for powder paint process

• Staging parts and pushing parts through the oven

• Using lift assist for heavier parts

• Loading and unloading racks

• Able to work off ladders and in tight spaces.

• Focus on quality, customer service, safety, productivity.

• Must be willing to work overtime as required, including weekends.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-year related experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in electrical products

Position Criteria:

• Working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility

• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime

• Good problem solving and troubleshooting ability

• Excellent history of work performance, team work and attendance

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
