Emerald Pointe, the premier retirement community in the mid-Willamette Valley, is seeking a part -time person to paint interiors of vacant apartments with our maintenance team.

Hours and Shifts

The job is part-time and the hours are generally 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Ultimately, the exact days and hours are flexible and up to you and our Maintenance Director. Pick up some evening shifts to supplement your day job, or perhaps some extra weekend hours. Talk with us and we will figure out a schedule that works for both of us.

About The Work

Team members in this position perform will paint the interiors of vacant apartments and, perhaps some common areas as well. All masking tape, paint, brushes, rollers, drop cloths, and other supplies are provided. Drywall and woodwork repairs will have already been completed Our emphasis is on quality; cutting in at ceilings and around trim work, and even paint coverage.

Qualifications

Reliability, conscientiousness, attention to detail, and your ability to follow instructions the most important characteristics we look for. Previous painting experience is required. You must be a self-starter who can work independently and efficiently to complete your assigned work in a timely manner. You must speak fluent English to communicate with residents and other team members. You must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and drug test.

Compensation

Salary/wage is dependent on your experience and quality of work, so tell us what your salary/wage expectations are. We offer an excellent base wage, paid sick leave, a retirement plan, and a year-end bonus.
