Team Rehab is a network of therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia.

Responsibilities:

Medical Biller /Payment Poster


This is a hybrid position between home and office.


Salary: This is an entry-level position starting at $16.00/hour


Responsibilities may include:

  • Bank Reconciliation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Accurately posting patient payments that are received by check, EFT or credit card
  • Accurately posting insurance payments based on explanations of benefits (EOBs)
  • Updating/revising account postings in a timely manner while upholding integrity of data
  • Effectively communicating by telephone, email, or internal correspondence to resolve payment issues with patients and payers
  • Taking initiative to seek out duties or to assists others as needed
  • Assisting with other tasks as assigned by the billing manager
  • Must be committed to Team Rehabilitation’s initiative of making DEI a priority - bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in health care in a patient contact position is an advantage
  • Experience with health insurance is an advantage
  • Experience in MS Word and Excel also helpful
