Job description
Team Rehab is a network of therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia.

Medical Biller /Payment Poster
This is a hybrid position between home and office.
Salary: This is an entry-level position starting at $16.00/hour
Responsibilities may include:
- Bank Reconciliation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Accurately posting patient payments that are received by check, EFT or credit card
- Accurately posting insurance payments based on explanations of benefits (EOBs)
- Updating/revising account postings in a timely manner while upholding integrity of data
- Effectively communicating by telephone, email, or internal correspondence to resolve payment issues with patients and payers
- Taking initiative to seek out duties or to assists others as needed
- Assisting with other tasks as assigned by the billing manager
- Must be committed to Team Rehabilitation’s initiative of making DEI a priority - bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience in health care in a patient contact position is an advantage
- Experience with health insurance is an advantage
- Experience in MS Word and Excel also helpful
