The WRC Promoter GmbH is responsible for all commercial aspects of the FIA WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP (WRC) since 2013 and of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) since 2022. The sister company, Rallycross Promoter GmbH, is responsible for all commercial aspects of the FIA World and European Rallycross Championship (World RX) since 2021 and both companies work in synergy together.
The WRC Promoter is Established in 1973, the WRC is widely regarded as the most challenging and toughest motorsport championship in the world. Areas that play to your strengths
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Lead market research with external research agencies, including dedicated event reports and fan surveys
Performing multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines
Regular provision of comprehensive feedback and reporting documents
Support the commercial team with presentation templates, innovative marketing collateral and tools, business presentations and commercial proposals (sales support) tailored to WRC partners’ or prospects’ individual needs
Support the team with ad-hoc requests
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
- Marketing degree or other equivalent
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing or a comparable role in sports or media research industry
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office
- Social tools such as Sprinkl, Meltwater are a must
- Experience with international markets and business
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing skills
- Self-motivated with enthusiasm for the sport
- High level of initiative and capable of co-operating with variety of people and cultures
