Summary:

• Actively hiring for a Chemical Formulator with the qualifications/experience within chemical processing, mixing, chemical operation, QC/Chemistry lab or in chemistry testing, this might be the next opportunity for YOU to allow skills development and long-term growth within!
• The purpose of this role will be supporting one of their global and leading suppliers at their their on-site chemical processing facility to support the expansion of their continuous innovations, new applications, and industries!
• This position requires physical lifting of material bags into mixers. These can weigh up to 50lbs. Depending on the product/process - the number of bags carried/lifted/Poured could range between 0-50+

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Performs inspection and analysis of raw materials and chemical products to assure adherence to specification.
• Use all tools and equipment in the preparation of and processes of manufacturing products produced at the Chemical Processing Plant.
• Physically mixes materials and chemicals and make various adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Lift and carry material bags (up to 50lbs).
• Depending on the product and process could depend on the number of bags carried/lifted/Poured could range between 0-50+
• Follow all procedures, methods and guidelines to assure quality, safety and production goals are met.
• Performs a range of tests of such complexity that attention to detail is imperative.
• Reads, understands and uses detailed instructions; performs testing; enters data, presents data, prepares reports or charts to report test results.
• Requires the use of chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
• Reads and understands instructions and specifications; uses computers as needed.
• Monitors & controls the manufacturing processes utilizing monitoring equipment.
• Use all tools and equipment in the preparation of and processes of manufacturing products produced at the Chemical Processing Plant.
• Follow all procedures, methods and guidelines to assure quality, safety and production goals are met.
• Enters records or writes up data for company reports.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and co-workers to give and receive information while maintaining positive working relationships.
• Prepares orders for shipment, fills containers and stages product for shipment (assisting loadmasters as needed).
• Maintain storage and inventory areas.
• Keeps work areas neat, clean and organized; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the facility and grounds of the Chemical Processing Plant.

Qualifications MUST HAVES:

• High School Diploma required
• 6+ months experience within chemical processing, batch mixing/compounding, GMP manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lb bag of materials/chemicals
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of computers.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS.)
• High attention to detail, organized, above average mechanical skills. Good analytical & problem solving skills.
