THE ROLE

The Hunt Valley Making Department is responsible for pre-weighing and making all bulks that go into brands such as Covergirl, Rimmel, Max Factor, Sally Hansen and Philosophy. Reporting to the Making area manager, you will get to work with several other technicians to ensure product is made with safety and GPM being our two top priorities.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Operate designated Making Equipment (600 – 15-gallon vessels)
Maintaining adherence to Safety and Quality processes and procedures
Pre-weigh raw materials to stage them for Making Vessels to complete batches
Ensure each batch contains all materials prior to making
Check temperatures, mixing speeds, viscosity, pH, and color characteristics of batches
Calculate yield of each batch at completion

QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
HS Diploma required, Associates Degree in a related field preferred
Previous Making/Blending experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with others in the Making department
Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot issues on Making vessel
Ability to work well in teams, good interpersonal skills
Computer Skills (SAP, Excel, Word & Outlook)
We are a 3-shift operation, must have the ability to support shift as assigned
