We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented leasing administrator to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to negotiate with both landlords and tenants, strong knowledge of the rent stabilization law, and experience with 421a.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of lease renewals with landlords, including negotiations, drafting lease agreements, and ensuring timely execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leases, lease renewals, and tenant communication.
  • Communicate with tenants to negotiate rent increases and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the rent stabilization law and 421a.
  • Maintain positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and brokers.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, including projections for rent increases.
  • Prepare reports and provide data analysis as needed.
  • Understand market trends and provide comparable apartment rents to justify rents.
  • Work closely with the leasing team to ensure that all deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leasing administration in New York City.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the rent stabilization law and experience with 421a.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
