Jr Business Relationship Manager-Technical Project Specialist
Job description
We are seeking a Junior IT Business Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between the IT department and the business units by ensuring that IT initiatives and projects align with business goals and objectives. They will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to define requirements, prioritize work, and manage project timelines. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as a solid understanding of technology and its impact on business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the IT department and business units to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
- Gather and document business requirements for IT initiatives and projects
- Manage project timelines and priorities in conjunction with IT project managers
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure everyone is on the same page
- Provide input on IT strategy and technology solutions based on business needs
- Ensure IT initiatives are completed on time and within budget
- Continuously evaluate IT solutions and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in IT Business Relationship Management or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of technology and its impact on business operations
- Ability to gather and document business requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus
