Fast growing, luxury dealership group looking for an individual to fill the Human Resources / Payroll position. Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Managing the recruitment and selection process
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to Management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two - three years of experience as an HR/Payroll Manager.
- High volume, multi store experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Benefit coordinating preferred.
- Working knowledge of dealership payroll required.
- Knowledge of California payroll laws and labor laws preferred.
- CDK experience preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Good communication skills.
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
