Shield HealthCare is looking for a Human Resources Generalist for our corporate office in Valencia, CA. The Human Resources Generalist assists in all administrative functions of the Human Resources Department.

This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee on-board processing for all new employees, to include scheduling and delivering New Hire Orientation; processing all new hire paperwork to include HRIS input.
  • Organizes and maintains filing systems including Personnel file maintenance and maintaining purge schedules.
  • Assist with recruiting as needed.
  • Maintains employee badging & security access systems.
  • Assists with benefit administration tasks to include orientation, enrollments, monthly billing, and employee assistance.
  • HR Reporting to include standard monthly, ad hoc reports and employee surveys.
  • Maintains professional licensure and health record tracking, to include scheduling for employees when appropriate.
  • Processes incoming mail and prepares correspondence.
  • Creates and maintains HR forms/information; posts on company intranet site as needed.
  • Assists in all functional areas of HR
  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned by Human Resource Department Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Management or related experience
  • 3+ years prior work experience in an HR Generalist Role
  • Recruiting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
