Ahva Care of Winfield is seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a culture builder, bringing a blend of operational and team member focused resource management along with a passion for healthcare, training and development, and a love for team member engagement.
The Director of Human Resources is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
What are we looking for?
- Establish and/or develop, implement, and enforce human resources policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
- Oversee employee compensation and benefit programs to include medical, dental, vision, retirement plan administration, and various ancillary plans.
- Evaluate compensation and benefit programs to identify opportunities for enhancement. Make recommendations to the CEO and implement changes as appropriate.
- Lead a team of human resource professionals to achieve excellence in all human resource functions
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
- 20% traveling
- Strong healthcare background, 5 years in a healthcare setting
- Very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products
