Responsibilities:
Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Human Resources (HR) Administrator for our Alexandria, Virginia office. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build professional relationships.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Administrative support for HR Department including record keeping, file maintenance, and data entry
  • Provide general HR administrative support for all HR functions and to the Director of HR and Chief People Officer
  • Maintain various HR team calendars
  • Answer routine employment questions and direct employees to appropriate resources
  • Perform employment verifications and track employee referrals
  • Coordinate and setup employee on-boarding process and facilitating new hire orientation
  • Coordinate employee off-boarding process; schedule exit interviews and manage exit processing
  • Serve as back-up for various HR processes and HR Reporting
  • Required to maintain confidentiality and to operate in the role with the highest of ethical standards and professionalism
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of employees including leadership
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as an effective and engaged team member in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 1 year of related HR experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
