Reporting to our Sr. Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will serve as a key HR point of contact for Client Support organization with team members in Miami, Florida and Frisco, Texas. The Human Resources Generalist can expect to undertake a wide range of HR tasks to effectively support the people needs for the Client Support organization including but not limited to: new hire onboarding, managing timely completion of compliance training, partnering with managers on effectively resolving employee relation matters timely and support leave administration. A high level of discretion will be required in this role.

This position is home-based in Miami.
Essential Job Duties
- Serve as the point of contact for all employee relation issues for Customer Support and other operations groups as assigned; investigate issues and execute actions when appropriate; escalate more complex issues to the Sr. HR Manager or VP of People & Culture for collaboration before execution
- Support the Customer Support leadership team in policy design, creation, and execution to ensure KPI’s are met
- Mange the onboarding process for the Customer Support team in partnership with the People & Culture and Customer Support team members
- Ensure any changes needed for employee data are submitted accurately and timely to the HR inbox and IT ticket system (and any other system notification requirements based on the change)
- Assist in the completion of the I-9 process, including e-verify process
- Assist in document verification as needed
- Ensure all non-conformance is handled timely and correctly
- Process and monitor leaves of absence and accommodation requests ensuring compliance and consistency
- Initiate and manager workers’ compensation claims for assigned groups
- Partner with Customer Support leadership to ensure annual people processes are completed timely (compliance training, performance management, employee engagement, leader training, etc.)
- Partner with the Payroll team as needed to ensure all changes are processed timely for upcoming pay dates including:
- Reviewing and getting timecard approvals, sending reminder emails to managers & reviewing payroll preview reports for accuracy
- Ensure biweekly additional pays and/or changes (new hires, terms, bonus payments, etc.) are submitted accurately and timely to the HR inbox
- Assist with sending various payroll reports after payroll closes
- Assist as needed in managing the HR Inbox
- Respond to emails and/or research with SME’s to ensure correct information is provided to the employee within two business days
- Assist as needed with various audits (i.e., 401k and SOC)

Travel Requirements
- Travel 10-25%, including overnight travel
Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in an HR support role, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- General understanding of Federal and state employment laws with specific knowledge of where to research and find information regarding existing and proposed employment laws and regulations
- Experience supporting customer support or call center employees
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, give excellent attention to detail and handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide solutions to solve complex problems and execute accordingly

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
