The Chandler site is developing and producing novel ceramic components for the semiconductor industry serving the leading OEMs in the field. The site is already ramping-up from an R&D site originally to a state-of-the art high-volume production facility now with additional capacity and a plan for significant revenue growth. There are currently 70 employees across all functions at the site, strongly growing.
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives through full utilization of the human resource programs and processes.
Here are just a few of the things you will get to do as an HR Business Partner:
- Champion the Heraeus Conamic human resources strategy as part of the Value Creation Plan (Heraeus Conamic 2025) including the assurance that global and regional HR tools and processes are integrated into the business.
- Contributes as a member of the Chandler site leadership team with strategic initiatives and solutions that affect and improve the cross-functionality of the organization.
- Leads the core HR topics like talent acquisition, employee experience, culture, people development, capability building, organizational effectiveness and change initiatives to achieve the business strategy.
Regarding HR Management, here are a few more things you will get to do:
- Develop, maintain, report and monitor the workforce plan. Manage the temporary agency vendors and requirements.
- Focus on compensation management topics including: market price comparison of positions, and incentive compensation alignment with business strategy.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues, anticipates problems whenever possible, and develops, recommends, and initiates appropriate steps for resolution.
- Develops job profiles (descriptions) and participates in inter-company job analysis and benchmarking.
- Trains and/or oversees informal and formal training of managers and employees on HR Policies as well as other applicable topics.
- As a member of regional HR community, you will attend meetings and participate as applicable in regional and global Human Resources events and initiatives to ensure cross-divisional efficiencies in training, policy development, sourcing and staffing programs, etc.
This position works closely with the site Senior Leader and Head of HR in the region and the global Head of HR for Conamic.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources and 3-5 years in a management level position in Human Resources. A master’s degree is preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Experience in production- and/or start-up environments and working for a global organization is also preferred.
- Thorough understanding of Federal and State employment laws including ADA, FMLA, OSHA and Workers Compensation.
- Demonstrate a high level of drive, influence, integrity, professionalism and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation (self-starter) and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines (ownership & accountability).
- Excellent communication skills, proven experience in driving change initiatives and execution of programs.
