In addition, the medical center is a designated Stroke Center. Pascack Valley Medical Center is committed to offering excellent care to the local community through various hospital services including a Women’s Center, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center, Imaging and Diagnostics, Sleep Center, a Wound Care Center and a Center for Joint Replacement. In 2016, Pascack Valley Medical Center opened a brand new Emergency Department featuring over 22,000 square feet with all private exam rooms, fast track rooms for more efficient care and state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Housekeeper to join the Pascack Valley Team!
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
- Physical ability to perform a job that requires bending, stretching, and lifting moderate to heavy loads
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility - cleaning/restocking restrooms, cleaning examination rooms, pulling trash, vacuuming, dusting, break rooms, common areas
- Clean patient rooms using approved cleaners
- Empty and clean trash cans daily.
- Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors.
- Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.
- Perform any and all other duties assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High School Graduate or GED required. Diploma from a vocational or technical program preferred
- 1 + years experience in hospital cleaning
