JOB TITLE: Professional Herbicide Applicator

Job purpose

Apply herbicides for DOT, Plant Sites, Utilities, Municipalities, in Rights of Way.

Serious inquiries only by those looking for a professional career in vegetation management working in Rights of Way. The positions consist of managing projects, interfacing with customers, spraying herbicides under power lines and DOT roadways, along with many other services we offer (line cutting, light chain saw work, spraying substations, etc). Travel required in our vehicles Monday-Friday. Looking to hire immediately. Valid Driver License and transportation to work is also required. Responsible for learning proper herbicide application techniques

Ability to operate equipment

• Spraying - systems
• Four-wheelers
• Back Pack Sprayers

Qualifications

Minimal Qualifications:

• Valid Driver License
• Drug Free and supportive of company policies
• Clean driving record
• Transportation to office
• Small engine knowledge helpful

Physical Requirements

Must be able to carry back packs, walk in difficult terrain, work outdoors everyday, endure long hours, and work in the elements.

Pay Range:

Starting Salary Range: $14.00 to $15.50

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Landscape experience helpful but not necessary
• Commercial applicator helpful but not necessary

Location:

License:

• Driver's License Required
• Willingness to obtain Commercial Herbicide Applicators License

Out of State travel required
