Overview

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, such as bucket loaders, excavators, and articulated haul trucks, depending upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Prior heavy equipment operator experience preferred. Earn a year’s salary in 7 months and do what you want for the rest!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance, such as greasing and topping off fluid levels.
• Assist with crushing plant maintenance and housekeeping, such as shoveling spillages and greasing machinery.
• Assist with crushing plant repairs, such as splicing belts and changing screens.
• Follow safety rules, such as lock out – tag out procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift & carry heavy loads, and perform manual labor tasks.
