Healthcare Recruiter (Multi-Specialty)

Job Summary: Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is a newly founded team-based, physician-led, comprehensive health and wellness clinic in the beautiful area of Gillette, Wyoming. Our company was created to provide prospective healthcare resources to the community and meet the needs of our patient base. To do this effectively, we encourage spending more time with patients through a lower daily patient volume. In addition, we are structured to provide a large variety of additional services to patients in-house, including mental health and social support, exercise and nutrition support, general primary care, specialist care, and other exciting resources. We are seeking a driven and creative Healthcare Recruiter to permanently join our team of Internists, specialists, and other medical and administrative staff. These duties will include ensuring long-term, comprehensive, and prospective care is provided for the patient base by staffing appropriately. Healthcare Recruiters are responsible for posting job advertisements, screening applicants, interviewing candidates, setting interview schedules with hiring managers, and, in some cases, providing the job offer to qualified candidates. They should have a solid background in healthcare and be familiar with the skills, experiences, and levels of expertise needed for the different vacancies.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize JazzHR (ATS) through Namely (HRIS) to post employment opportunities and track applicant responses and progress.
  • Develop recruitment reports, including notification documents for managers and other members of leadership.
  • Assist with the Namely on-boarding process by enrolling candidates into the system, collecting all new hire paperwork, and entering all necessary data into the database.
  • Work directly with the Director of Human Resources to ensure efficient understanding of company goals, needs, expectations, and financial restrictions on recruitment; drafting on job descriptions; and developing effective recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Recruit a variety of clinical and administrative personnel, including complex specialists and providers.
  • Pre-screen qualified candidates before distributing candidates to hiring managers and other necessary members of leadership for a final interview.
  • Establish and coordinate interview times (virtually and in-person) with leadership.
  • Notify candidates about job acceptance or declinations to retain transparency.
  • Recruit and source needed staff via job fairs, referrals, internet / credential searches, cold calling, strategic platform job postings, and direct mailings in collaboration with the Director of Marketing.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives and plans to best ensure securing of viable candidates based on specific specialties and classifications.
  • Process new hires and ensure compliance with federal, state, DOH and other standards.
  • Maintain relationships with all staff to identify prospective healthcare professionals for specific employment opportunities and filling of needs.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills to place qualified candidates and communicate with teammates and supervisors effectively.

Required Knowledge, Education, Skills and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree in human resources, business administration, communications, management, healthcare administration, or another related field is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in non-locum focused healthcare recruitment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in a high-stress work environment.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet program and ability to master practice management software.
  • Knowledge of physician credentialing requirement is highly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate needs of various physician specialties and sub-specialties.
Direct Report: This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

  • Visual acuity.
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk throughout shifts as needed to oversee operations and work-flow.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and electronic formats, such as email, returning calls, working with Word software, and working with Google Meet for virtual meetings.
