As our Forecast Analyst, you’re responsible for adjusting system forecasts based on daily reviews of items by using tools which includes customer planning, seasonality and future planning to deliver forecast accuracy and forecasting bias as per defined goals by item and/or product family. Responsible for engaging and collaborating with your respective buyers, markets, and sales partners to lead initiatives such as event/holiday planning and driving demand recommendations based on analysis of sales history, trends, seasonality,
and other market intelligence with the goal of maximizing service levels and minimizing excess inventory
Flexible Work Policy: The Forecast Analyst position has been segmented as Blended, meaning the work is a combination of onsite (only 2 days per month) and virtual. This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Rosemont, IL.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Category specific expertise to interpret seasonality, market, and trend information
- Determines the optimal forecast parameters for each item/market combination based on recent demand
- Determine best methods to improve forecast accuracy and adjust forecast models as necessary to improve forecast metrics
- Responsible for completing daily and weekly exceptions to mitigate any over/under forecasts
- Responsible for proper execution on Event/Holiday Planning
- Responsible for attending periodic reviews to improve company metrics with coordination from Market/Category Management/ National Sales and buying teams
- Other duties assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
- Four-year college degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience required
Related Experience/Requirements:
- 2 Year Demand Planning and Forecasting experience utilizing E3/AWR/Blue Yonder or similar required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Category specific expertise to interpret seasonality, market, and trend information
- Thoroughly understands the business to interpret how promotional activity, new product
- Possesses superior communication skills
- Possesses the ability to solve complex problems in an expeditious fashion
- Proficiency required in the use of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Microsoft Outlook
