Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Analyst the Financial Analyst is directly responsible for supporting the reporting functions of the Company with insightful and actionable analysis that drives the business forward.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to research, compile and present relevant trends and analysis with large data sets in support of all departments and levels within the organization
  • Prepare and analyze client pricing
  • Investigate discrepancies in account balances among systems
  • Work across departments to ensure reconciliation match filings and other expectations
  • Assist in calculating monthly commission payments
  • Works within a small team that prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual analysis including forecasts, budgets, operational and variance reports to create executive board level presentations
  • Performs ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as requested
  • Assist the accounting department as needed
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in a fast paced dynamic work environment

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytical problem solving skills required
  • Must have the ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Collaboration/Teamwork – must possess willingness and desire to build relationships within the finance department and across departments where subject matter expertise resides for the products and services we provide.

Educational and Professional Licensing or Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced level computer skills
