What we're looking for
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. You'll focus on important calculations, reporting and analysis to help the business execute on its goals. The ideal candidate will contribute to timely and accurate financial plans, forecasts, and reporting so that the FP&A team can provide financial expertise, identify risks and opportunities, and translate insights into action plans and see plans through to execution. This person will be focused on partnering with General and Administrative departments, short and long-term forecasting, operational reporting, and operating performance analysis.
What you'll do
- Support Revenue Management, Legal, Human Resources, Finance, and Administrative departments.
- Manage budgets and forecasts for departmental headcount, T&E, software, leases and utilities, training and recruiting, insurance, professional services, and other expenses.
- Partner cross-functionally to understand the accounting treatment of various transactions to drive consistent reporting and improve our forecast accuracy.
- Assist with the development, management, and improvement of financial models, forecasts, and budgets; coordinate with leadership across the organization to collaboratively set goals.
- Compare actual results with forecast; analyze, explain variances and identify areas of opportunity and risks, as well as actions to remediate.
- Provide accurate and timely operational reports and analysis to the Executive Team, Board, and business stakeholders to support and drive strategic decisions.
- Use quantitative skills to break down large data sets and identify underlying trends and business drivers.
- Focus on complex problem solving and building predictive models, as well as ad-hoc analysis to support key business decisions.
- Continually improve processes and ensure consistency in recurring reporting.
- Communicate your findings effectively and follow through to help drive improvements.

Skills you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a financial/analytical role.
- Experience within fast growth companies. Public company experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office and G Suite experience, with advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to synthesize large data sets into comprehensive insights and recommendations.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills, and ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with changing priorities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and relentless follow through.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Netsuite and Anaplan experience a plus.
- Reliable internet connection, must meet a minimum of 50 mbps

You'll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.
Compensation
- $70000 - $75000 / year
