The Finance Project Manager researches and oversees major financial projects and fiscal/data reporting activities for all programs within Integrated Clinical Services. The primary responsibilities of this position include managing financial projects and fiscal/data reporting activities for all programs within the department, ensuring compliance with HRSA regulations, analyzing complex financial data and presenting relevant information to members of the Health Center Management team, and conducting statistical, cost, and financial analyses to project future fiscal trends.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan and design financial and data reporting, sharing with stakeholders, monitoring, and interpretation.
  • Analyze data and prepare detailed financial reports, projections and risk assessment to assist in the development of budgets and for budget monitoring.
  • Perform regular revenue, visit and expenditure analysis and special requests by ICS Director, ICS senior leaders and managers to support projects and initiatives.
  • Design, plan, and manage finance and data reports with IT when needed. Design dashboard reports, plan and schedule reports. Work with consultants and outside agencies to provide/receive information.
  • Collaborate with the Grants Management Team to update expenditure reporting procedures, checklists, and workflow within the grants management system.
  • Responsible for accounting and analysis for grants and matching gifts as required for financial and budget reporting.
  • Prepare and review complex documentation for inter-agency and intergovernmental services and expenditures; participate in the annual reporting functions and audits; revenue and expense contract initiation, coordination and monitoring.
  • Lead special projects and participate in work groups to identify visit and revenue trends that affect operations.
  • Design, lead, and assess Alternative Payment Model (APM).
  • Run data to share and discuss information with management. Support accreditation process and attestation for applications.

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be as noted below. All non-traditional education, training and experience will be evaluated.
Education/Training: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree; AND
Experience: Three (3) to six (6) years of experience working in a healthcare environment.
