Accounts payable specialists ensure employees are reimbursed for business expenses and vendors are paid for services and products rendered. The primary duties for this role include processing expense reports and invoices, responding to inquiries, maintaining Accounting department systems, and completing 1099 statements. This position will also require sales and use tax knowledge for sales tax exemption review of customer invoices.
Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
Invoice entry in SAP (Account code determination – AC, BA, CC)
Expense report processing
Check clearing process
Scanning, batching, and filing accounting documents
Payment processing such as check printing and ACH
Sales/Use Tax and Property Tax coding
General Ledger entry
Tax and compliance inquiries / research
Account Analysis (Sub ledgers)
Required Skills :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
0~3 Years’ experience in Accounts Payable
Some experience with accounting Software – SAP or similar
Use tax knowledge
Other Requirements:
Willing to learn and perform any department task including filing and scanning
Has good communication skill
Can organize tasks and routines efficiently
Mindful of deadlines and understand the utmost importance of meeting due dates
