We are currently looking for an exceptional and experienced Staff Development/Infection Control Nurse (RN) to join our passionate team. Are you are a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Staff Development and Infection Control experience and Management experience in LTC setting?

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in S.C. (Required)
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with PCC
• Must maintain all required continuing education/ licensing and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience as a nurse educator
• Expertise in long-term care/ rehab Management

The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, In-service education and a Certification Training Program (if applicable) for the nursing assistants as required by regulations. Work with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care.
