Sands Point Center for Health & Rehabilitation is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our caring and dedicated nursing team!
The Director of Nursing, DON must be committed to ensuring the facility continues to be a premier provider and employer of choice in Short-Term Rehabilitation, Subacute, and Long-Term Healthcare services.
- Dedicated to being a leader in innovative services, fostering new partnerships, and promoting excellence in the delivery of care by anticipating and embracing the ever-changing needs of the community we serve.
- The Director of Nursing, DON is responsible to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Department and ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.
- The Director of Nursing, DON is also responsible for the execution of resident care policies and procedures and the coordination of the Nursing department with other departments.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with Bachelor’s Degree, BSN preferred
- Licensed in NY State as a Registered Nurse in good standing
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a management role within an LTC environment
- Training in a rehabilitative & restorative nursing practices
