Danville Dental Associates is looking for front office representatives to work in our call center and our front desk. Call Center Representatives are the first contact with our patients and are responsible for representing a positive and friendly atmosphere of customer care, by ensuring that incoming calls are routed to the correct office location, new patients are set up with the services they need, and patient questions are answered.

There is room to learn and grow. Our Call Center Representatives are cross trained to fill in at the front desk and to handle special tasks and duties as part of the administrative team. The best candidate will be a highly reliable, customer service-oriented individual, with a pleasant telephone voice, who has experience in the functions of a dental or medical office environment or experience in a call-center.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome our patients and vendors to the administrative office
  • Answer a high volume of phone calls
  • Assist patients with questions directly or by routing them to the correct office
  • Answer basic questions about our services, providers, and locations
  • Set up new patients
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Offer excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Follow practice policies and scripts

Skills & Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One or more years of experience as Front Desk or Call Center Representative or similar role;
  • Punctuality and dedicated attendance
  • Hands on experience with office machines (for example fax, printer etc.);
  • Knowledge of general office procedures preferred;
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the Practice’s success;
  • Team player;
  • Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills;
  • Possess an excellent patient-service orientation;
  • Proficient computer skills;
  • Possess ability to respect confidential information, financial or personal;
  • Ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult people or situations;
  • Perform duties with attention to detail;
  • Ability to problem-solve.

Additional Skills Preferred

  • Experience in the dental field is a plus
  • Experience with electronic medical records and patient management systems
  • Experience with scheduling for multiple providers
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
