About the Opportunity

The delivery supervisor is an integral part of the operations leadership team and has responsibility for managing and ensuring efficient delivery operations. Duties include:

  • Directly supervises performance of drivers in the market
  • Communicates with drivers and customers as needed to identify and resolve delivery issues
  • Provides back-up coverage for delivery routes as needed
  • Formulates and applies disciplinary action as needed to address employee issues
  • Assists in daily routing and route management
  • Completes various administrative tasks, including, but not limited to: invoice review and approval, administration of driver qualification files and related information, tasks related to the company’s drug and alcohol program, timecard management and approval and required payroll processes
  • Assists in the processing, review and resolution of workforce grievances
  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance/productivity and customer experience of the department
  • Uses strong leadership skills to communicate with and motivate employees
  • Assists in setting targets and tracking KPIs
  • Accountability for set goals, including those relating to operational performance, safety and regulatory standards
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and implementing in partnership with other members of leadership
  • Ensures proper training of assigned personnel
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with employees and customers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Eagle Rock policies and procedures.

  • Ability to reach, pull, twist, bend, stoop to move product
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 70 lbs.
  • Must be capable of pushing or pulling loaded carts (weighing approximately 300 lbs).
  • Working outside safely year-round in varying weather conditions

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation range: $67,000 to $75,000 per year (including salary and bonus potential)

(Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon route, geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level)
