Position Summary

We’re hiring a full time Customer Service Desk Associate. This Team Member is responsible for customer service via phone, email and website inquiries. Duties include helping customers daily with placing orders, setting orders aside, questions/inquiries and handling customer complaints. Customer Service Desk Associates are expected to foster a positive work environment and carry out the core values of Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensures that customers are waited on promptly in a friendly, quick and efficient manner via phone and email.
• Provides exceptional customer service at all times; Escalates issues/concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Learns product names, descriptions, pricing and availability and stays updated with changes
• Uses phones, computer software and POS systems daily to serve the customer.
• Engages in sales discussions and upselling of products

• Must be precise and attentive to detail
• Must be dependable and reliable: follows instructions, takes responsibility and keeps commitments
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, or GED required
• Previous customer service experience required
• Must be proficient with Google Suite or related software

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

This position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for prolonged periods of time. This position utilizes multi-line phones, a computer and POS system. The employee is occasionally required to work while standing for 8-10 hours per shift, occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception with the ability to adjust focus.
