Job description
Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This position will work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3pm at our location in Hunt Valley, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash registers and follows established cash handling procedures.
- Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
- Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas.
- Actively engage in developing more effective customer service skills.
- Provides honest and trustworthy advice to customers regarding the best products that fit the customers' expectations.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent education
- Customer service experience is required
- Sales and warehouse experience strongly preferred
- Able to comfortably lift and pull heavy items in a fast paced environment
- General math skills to allow for cash accounting
- An ability to learn is a must have!
- Excellent decision making and communication skills
Pay Range:
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
