JOB DESCRIPTION

A store manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest services, oversees the operation of the store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through the management of inventory, labor budgets, and team management. To be successful in this roll you should have strong communication skills, the ability to lead, and be flexible.

JOB TYPE:

· Full Time must be available days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITES

Responsible for overseeing all elements of store operation including but not limited to:

· Upholding all company policies and procedures

· Overseeing completion and accuracy of daily paperwork

· Accurately maintaining merchandise inventory

· Ordering and ensuring the received merchandise is properly priced.

· Coaching, mentoring, and developing team including overseeing new employee hiring, development and accountability

· Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are kept in good operating condition to promote health, safety, and the best possible customer experience

· Ensuring the daily financial controls are in place and executed

· Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the organizational goals, budgets, and standards

· Conducts price surveys for product and fuel

· Oversee both convenience store and full-service carwash

· Any other task required by supervisor

SKILLS AND QUALITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB:

· Friendly, customer service, and sales driven attitude

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

· Competency with monetary transactions

· Basic computer knowledge in a Microsoft Windows environment required

· Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching, and development skills

· Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively manage time

Availability

· Days, nights, weekends, holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs in the transport of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
