Who we are looking for

Lucky for you, we have an immediate opening on our top-notch legal team for a Paralegal with an emphasis in contract review. We're looking for an experienced contract review specialist to join our legal team during our next growth stage. You'll need to be reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage agreements across a sales cycle. You'll be part of a fast-paced team supporting and collaborating across multiple departments as we continue to grow in the booming legal tech market.

What you need to get the job done

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or related field with certification preferred
• 1-2 years experience in SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS contract review
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited oversight
• Ability to apply logic to shifting priorities and workloads, with an ability to keep pace and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent judgment and ethics; ability to maintain strict confidentiality; exercise discretion and eagerness to collaborate among multiple stakeholders
• Superior interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to partner with peers, all levels of management, and external resources in a virtual team environment
• Experience with DocuSign and Contract Management systems preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

What you'll do for us

Responsibilities:

• Have fun! Enjoy the interactions with our customers and your co-workers
• Contract Review and Analysis
  • Analyze, review, edit and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including non-disclosure, service agreements, marketing, and other commercial technology transactions
  • Administer execution of delivery of contracts, including coordinating with clients, legal team, and sales team
  • Review redlines of draft contracts
  • Track contract statuses, facilitate e-signature, and appropriately file
  • Prepare draft agreements from company-approved templates
• Support Corporate Counsel and legal team
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clause libraries, and other processes to improve and scale operational efficiency
  • Meticulously organize and handle legal records
  • Identify and implement ways to improve and streamline recording, tracking, and correspondence
  • Assist in researching legal documents as part of legal due diligence or litigation
  • Research state privacy laws and industry data protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Manage inbound requests from sales, marketing, and other departments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, etc. to assess commercial terms and provide risk analysis
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, within the scope of practice
• Participate in company cultural training initiatives, including Arbinger methodologies, and apply learned principles in your work and in your interactions with others
