Summary of Position

We are looking for highly organized, compassionate candidates to work as Computed Tomography Tech (CT) - Critical Need. The Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with Client CT scanners, EPIC electronic medical record and PACS preferred.
• Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations.
• Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures.
• Take patient medical history before an exam.
• Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated.
• Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients.
• Supervised by a board-certified radiologist but afforded a great amount of independence and responsibility

Qualifications / Skills:

• 1-year current experience in a hospital setting

Certifications required:

• BLS (AHA)
• ARRT
• State License (OR)

Salary Range: $62-67

Schedule:

• 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM Day Shift
• 8 hours/day
• 40hrs/weeks
